Mile Bluff Clinic is seeking a Coder with 3-5 years experience with ICD-9 and CPT coding. The Coder is responsible for completing all claims for medical services rendered in accordance with CPT-4 rules, government regulations, third party payers and Clinic policies and procedures. Applicant must possess excellent customer service and problem solving skills. Other duties include regular communication with providers and Clinic employees along with participation in meetings, documentation audits and ongoing education.

CMA/MA - GYN - Full-time

The following job duties describe the basic functions and responsibilities of the position and are not all-inclusive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

	Patient care including patient phone calls
	Scheduling of surgical procedures
	Preparation of charts and paperwork
	Obtaining patient history and vitals
	Preparing patients and assisting with minor procedures
	Other general duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

	Medical Assistant diploma required
	Certified Medical Assistant preferred
