      Lee Dresang, MD

Please welcome University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine family practice physician Lee Dresang to Mauston.  He will see patients once a week at Mile Bluff Clinic beginning Monday, July 13.

Dr. Dresang graduated from medical school in 1994, and completed his family medicine residency at the University of New Mexico in 1997.  He then completed the Tacoma Family Medicine Rural Health Fellowship in Washington prior to moving to Wisconsin.

When asked what he is looking forward to about seeing patients in Mauston, he replied, “I spent eight weeks in Mauston in 1991 as a medical student working with Dr. Radant, and have always wanted to return.  In addition, I know Drs. Dan and Jane Kattenbraker and Dr. Kim Sabey well from when I was faculty and they were residents in Milwaukee.  I am very excited that I will have the opportunity to work with such terrific people and physicians, and serve such a wonderful community in Mauston.”

In 2006, Dr. Dresang moved from Milwaukee to Madison to become the statewide Maternity Care Coordinator for the University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine.  He practices a full spectrum family medicine with a specialty in maternal child health.
