Telephone Tips

Mile Bluff Clinic experiences a huge volume of calls during the hours of 8:00AM through 10:00AM, especially on Monday and Tuesday.

If you can call into the clinic after 10:00AM this should help you avoid peak call times and you should experience much less waiting time before your call is answered.

Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. calls are answered in the order that they are received, so if you are holding please continue to hold and your call will be answered by the first available receptionist.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency please call 911.

During the day patient care staff and practitioners are working seeing patients with appointments in the clinic and are unable to be available for phone calls.  Please leave a message with the receptionist with appropriate call back numbers so you can be reached.

If you are sick and you request a specific practitioner and their schedule is full, you need to let the receptionist know how you feel and that you would like to be seen if possible.  We will need to call back to let you know if it is possible for your practitioner to see you.  There may be openings with other practitioners in the clinic if your practitioner is unavailable.

We are all working to provide the best patient care possible for you.  Your cooperation will help us be more efficient for you.
